Hannah VogelCentre Manager of the Centre for Ancient Cultural Heritage and Environment (CACHE)Hannah Vogel (She/Her) is the Centre Manager of CACHE (Centre for Ancient Cultural Heritage and Environment), sessional teaching academic at Macquarie University, an invited speaker and guest lecturer. She is researching disability and bodily differences in ancient societies, with her most recent research focusing on scholarly approaches towards disability and ableism in ancient world studies. Hannah is an advocate for accessibility and working collaboratively, with extensive experience in mentoring and leadership. She also holds roles at the Widening Participation Unit (Macquarie University) where she manages a mentoring program for students from rural, regional and remote backgrounds, and coordinates the Department of History and Archaeology’s outreach program, Studying the Past.
Hannah sits on the Department of History and Archaeology Working Group on Approaches to Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility at Macquarie University. She is also a co-chair for the AWAWS Sydney chapter and co-Director of Tele’s Angels mentoring program. Hannah is willing to mentor across all disciplines in a way that suits the mentee. She has the capacity to mentor a maximum of four mentees at any stage. |
