Anastasia BakogianniSenior Lecturer in Classical Studies at Massey University, New ZealandDr Anastasia Bakogianni's research interests and publications focus on the reception of ancient Greek tragedy on screen and stage. In her work she engages with classical reception theory and methodology and seeks to highlight the relevance of classics in the modern world. For over a decade she was the organiser of a series of interactive postgraduate workshops at the Institute of Classical Studies (University of London, UK) focusing on different aspects of classical reception research and pedagogy. She is happy to advise on these topics, including how to teach classical reception at school and university level and the portrayal of ancient women in film and theatre.
She can mentor a maximum of two mentees in the same period. |
