Diana BurtonSenior Lecturer in Classics in the School of Languages and Cultures at Victoria University of WellingtonDiana Burton is a Senior Lecturer in Classics in the School of Languages and Cultures at Victoria University of Wellington. Her research explores the interaction between Greek art, myth, and religion, death and immortality, particularly through the iconography of mythical figures. She also has interests in early Greek literature and classical reception, and is part of an ongoing 3D printing project with the School of Design at Victoria.
Diana has considerable experience in teaching and supervision, has been involved in administration at both the School and Faculty level, and has a solid track record in publications. Diana is willing to mentor across all disciplines in a way that suits the mentee. She has the capacity to mentor a maximum of two mentees at any stage. |
