Lisa Bailey

Associate Professor in History / Classics and Ancient History at the University of Auckland.

Lisa Bailey is an Associate Professor in History / Classics and Ancient History at the University of Auckland. Her main research interests are in Late Antiquity and the Early Middle Ages, specifically religious, social, and cultural history. Lisa has worked extensively with postgraduates, in particular, in her role as Associate Dean at the Faculty of Arts, but also has experience in undergraduate teaching, supervision, research and administration, and is happy to advise and mentor around all these areas.
 
Lisa is willing to mentor across all disciplines in a way that suits the mentee. She has the capacity to mentor a maximum of two mentees at any stage.
