Peter KeeganProfessor in Roman History in the Department of Ancient History at Macquarie UniversityPeter Keegan is a Professor in the Department of Ancient History at Macquarie University and is currently the Associate Dean of Learning and Teaching in the Faculty of Arts. His main research interests are in the areas of Latin historiography; Roman social history, especially gender, sexuality and body history; and epigraphy, especially graffiti and funerary inscriptions.
Peter has over forty years of experience in teaching and community outreach. He has a strong research profile in the area of epigraphic studies. He also has considerable experience in the areas of postgraduate supervision and mentoring. Peter is willing to mentor across all disciplines in a way that suits the mentee. He has the capacity to mentor a maximum of two mentees at any stage. |
