AWAWS is a volunteer run organisation made up of a collective of local chapters, each with their own chair or committee, overseen by an executive committee from across Australia and New Zealand. Not all areas have a local chapter... yet! As our membership grows more local chapters will be able to flourish, share resources and host social and academic events that support equality and diversity in our own communities.

Get support for a chapter event

Funding is available for local chapters to support events such as lectures, symposia and networking get togethers. Chapter chairs are invited to complete our online form detailing your event to be reviewed by the executive committee at the next meeting. 

If you don't have a local chapter but are interested in hosting an event supported by AWAWS fill in the form or send us an email! We are always looking for new ideas and ways to support our community.
