About our microgrants
From late March 2021, AWAWS has offered a rolling microgrant scheme to support members in difficult financial situations and needing to meet the costs of a specific item. For example
Applications for the AWAWS Microgrants can range from $10 up to $200.
The Executive Committee has budgeted $1000 (annually) towards these grants.
- to purchase a webcam for online classes and seminars
- to pay for therapy/a specialist appointment
- to pay a phone bill

How to apply
Interested members should send a short paragraph explaining their current situation, the amount requested, and why they need the money. A range of eligibility reasons will be considered. Applications should be sent to [email protected]
Eligibility
All AWAWS members are eligible to apply with the exception of members of the Executive Committee. To join or update your membership, fill in our online form.
