Sonya Wurster

Honorary Fellow at La Trobe University and Director of Academic Content & Conferences at Marketing EDGE

Sonya Wurster is an Honorary Fellow at La Trobe University and Director of Academic Content & Conferences at Marketing EDGE. Her research interests are the Epicurean philosopher Philodemus and the cultural changes of the late Roman republic. Sonya has taught in Australia, Singapore, and the United States. She has experience in mentoring and postgraduate supervision and that she is interested in mentoring explicitly those who may be struggling with decisions about staying or leaving academia because of a lack of job prospects.

​Sonya is willing to mentor within the discipline in a way that suits the mentee. She has the capacity to mentor a maximum of two mentees at any stage. Sonya is based in New York so is only available for online mentoring.
